Located in Durham, North Carolina and in walking distance to Duke University, ASG Psychotherapy was founded by Mandi Goswami and currently comprises six other independent professionals with training in various backgrounds, from clinical social workers to psychotherapists. ASG Psychotherapy is equipped to provide services to a wide demographic, including teens, college-aged and professional adults, couples, and families, providing services from counseling to testing for disorders like ADHD and other learning disabilities.
Mandi graduated from UNC Chapel Hill with a degree in clinical psychology, where she went on to complete her post-doctorate at Duke University. Though ASG Psychotherapy offers services to a wide-range of individuals, Mandi particularly enjoys working with college-aged individuals and has developed a specialty in working with college students and young professionals and the individuation, relationship-building, and career goals that play into that work.
As ASG Psychotherapy continued to grow, Mandi decided it was time to purchase real estate, rather than continue to rent the space for her practice. She decided on a 1930’s house on Broad Street and renovated the space to meet the needs of the practice. Mandi first connected with FNB when a friend introduced her to Jonathan Inman, a banker for FNB. After learning more about the financing needs of her practice, Inman recommended and SBA loan and put Mandi in touch with Michael Byers. She decided to pursue an SBA loan for the flexible and more favorable terms.

He has been wonderful! This was our first SBA loan, and Michael really helped us through the process. He knew what details the SBA was looking for and was proactive in keeping things moving.
